Avast is one of the most popular computer security software providers. It is renowned for its high detection rates and, in independent tests, it has been ranked among the top anti-malware programs. The company was established in 1988 and has been in business since then, and has grown to offer a broad range of antivirus products, as along with a variety other tools to protect your computer.
Avast's latest version has a feature called Do Not Disturb Mode. This feature shuts down notifications when running applications in full-screen mode. Do Not Disturb Mode settings are available on the Performance tab of the Avast main window. It can be disabled or enabled by ticking the boxes.
When Do Not Disturb Mode is enabled, all Windows and Avast notifications are blocked while using any application on full screen. All notifications will be blocked for any application that you open in full screen. You can also activate Do Not Disturb Mode, which will only disable notifications for the apps that you select.
This is a particularly useful feature for hackers and coders who work in a digital environment and can allow them concentrate on their work without getting distracted by alerts from Avast or other programs. This can also help them verify quarantined files without being interrupted by an alert or pop-up. Click the Gaming icon on the plan tray to activate the Do Not disturb Mode feature. You can also manually activate the mode by clicking the 'Silent/Gaming Mode button on the main Avast window.
